0It's been a while since I've read a Harlequin, but from my memory, they do not use poor grammar so much as overly simplistic writing and not very original plots. I think as a way to learn English and read dialogue between speakers, it's a lot more fun than a lot of the books I read in "English" class in high school. If you can stand the plot line (hint: girl meets guy, falls in love, something causes them to seperate, they reunite and have endless love), you probably do fine.
