Hello,

1. We had hardly sat down at the table, when the phone rang.

I have to rewrite the above using no sooner .... than

A. No sooner had we sat down at the table than the phone rang.

B. No sooner did we sit down at the table than the phone rang.

Which one between #A and #B correct?

B. No sooner did the train arrived at the station than the passengers rushed towards it.

Both are possible. "A" fits the model sentence better.
A. No sooner had we sat down at the table than the phone rang.

1. The train arrived at the station. Soon the passengers rushed towards it.

Because "No sooner than" is used when something happens immediately, 'Soon' in the second sentence.is not the correct word.
