Hardest Riddle Ive ever come across.

Chase the shooting star to the North, Stubblefields birth to learn. Examine all the stains within, and find the ones to mourn. What you find should be combined to yield an odd result; Piece the many faces together to open up the vault.

The first sentence refers to the Big Dipper. Stubblefield was the guy who invented an early radio device back in the 1890's or so. The next sentence has me stumped for meaning. The next sentence makes me think of a jigsaw puzzle. So, I give up !

Idk but here is One I went to the forest and got it sat on a log to look for it went home cause I couldn't find it. What couldn't i find??
