Hard tense sentences to correct

Are the tenses correct in the sentences?

It is amazing what happens offensively to a team when the players catch and shoot rather than catch and hold the ball.

A team mathematically qualifies for the playoffs when they have won enough games to qualify even if they lose/should they lose all their remaining regular season games and all trailing teams win all their remaining games.

If I could have gone back in time, I would [rather] have done it differently.

Statistically you would have had a better chance of being right had you said that they had lost the last 3 games than won the last 3 games.

I've seen plays with less physical contact [in basketball] be called fouls. How come that was not a foul.

Going by the stats, they have a better chance of winning than their opponent.

He fouled the shooter to avoid having him shoot a shot.

Thanks
