Vocabulary

hard stock

Hi, Teachers!

I'm reading a material about chocolate filling fat.

It says "Available in hard stock"
What does hard stock mean?

Along with it, it says "Available Non-hydrogenated" and "Available as non-trans" which I understand.

I found this on one maker's website: HARD STOCKS FELDA IFFCO has developed a range of hardened and non hardened palm oil based fats which are used by the food industry for the manufacture of a wide variety of margarines, shortenings and vegetable ghee. All the products in this category are modified from liquid to solid and can be mixed with soft oils according to the customer requirements. All types of FELDA IFFCO hard stock fats are based on non-lauric vegetable fats with or without addition of antioxidant.
