happy that / happy because...

"I don't know if I should be happy that / because you think I'm charming or..."

Teachers, which one should I use in that sentence? Are both correct? I've seen quite a lot of sentences with either "happy that" or "happy because", so that means both are correct, right? Also if either is okay, anyone would tell me if there's a difference, even a slight one, please?
