People are living in a 'throwaway society', using things for a short time and then throwing them away.

In the current climate, more and more people are using disposable item for a short time and then are dumping them without reusing them. This essay will look at the real causes and repercussions of this trend.

In general, there are two primary reasons why people are throwing goods after using them mainly once. Perhaps the compelling explanation why people are doing so is that in many countries disposable incomes have significantly increased. This has resulted in mainly consumerism. As a result, many people now can well afford things, which were relatively expensive in the recent past. Another reason why people have this unacceptable behaviour is that fast pace of life. For example, many workers prefer to buy instant noodle in a cup than to make noodles at home. This is because they are frantically busy make own meal, and disposable kitchenwares are free at several stores or extremely cheap to buy.

From an overal prespective, there are several dire consequences of this bad behaviour. Perhaps the main issue caused by this throaway society is that environment pollution. This is mainly because dumped products can contaminate water and land with their toxins. Consequesntly, people who live near landfill area are at high risk of cancers. Another grave problem of this is economic issue.

In conclusion, throway away products is a topic which is obviously relevant to modern society with increasing pocket incomes.
