in your last reply you stated that the endings Hans' and Strauss' are pronounced as "-siz"
but the endings in the words such as "students' , boys' , teachers' " are pronounced only as "-z"..is that right?
I am a teacher of English in Turkey and I have been pronouncing the endings "Hans' , Strauss' " as "-z" for years just like the endings "students' , teachers'
