I am watching Sherlock movie and heard part of the phrase:


~ But I don't want you and Sherlock hanging off my gun arm?

She needed to be on her A-game & worrying about them could impede her judgement and abilities; after all, it already had when she shot Sherlock. Picture a weighted arm trying to fire a gun. You’re not going to be as good a shot. So she drew herself and the trouble away to take care of it.
