Glass frogs will also deposit their eggs on trees that hang over the water of streams or small rivers, or on stones near them. This is not the norm for frogs but is specific to this species.

Q) I can imagine "trees" are placed somewhere between "the water of streams" and the land just by it. Or "trees" are placed IN the water of streams."
Is the context enough for us to say that glass frogs deposit their eggs on branches of "trees?"
