Hang (out) with

I can see both of 'hang out with' and 'hang with' and I feel like they are used for the same meaning, or do native English speakers feel some difference and use them differently? Thank you so much and have a good day.

Thank you, so do we have to put meaning to ' out ' there. If so, is there a meaning difference between the two phrases? Or it is just a different way of saying the same?

I will show you proper ways, and some East Coast Slang, many slangs in america that are popular in cities on the East Coast, can in fact be very popular in cities on the west coast.

Super strict English:

I am going out with my friend Jacob.
Jacob, do you want to come hang out with me.
Are you trying to hang out with me, Jacob?

Yo
