Hands, arms

how do these sentences sound to you? which one would you choose?

1. I sometimes feel like a guinea pig (guinea-pig?) in your hands.

2. I sometimes feel like a guinea pig (guinea-pig?) in your arms?


oh god! it must the hangover, I can't think properly this morning.

The first one sounds like you pick up a giunea pig in your hands to for example show it to somebody. The second sounds like you're holding the guinea pig in an embrace. I'd choose the second one.

Are you referring to a guinea pig in the sense that you feel as if you are being used for experimental or resarch purposes?

Or, do YOU feel like a guinea pig in YOUR hands/arms?

In the first case, just as NanakiXIII mentioned, in your arms would mean to hold or embrace whereas in your hands would mean that you feel used or being used for bad (experimental) reasons.

No, not your fault at all - I blame the alcohol!

I wasn't too sure whether you were trying to say:

I sometimes feel like a guinea pig in your arms? Or,
I sometimes feel like a guinea pig in MY arms.

Obviously a big difference between sentences!
