Hand punch device vs. Hand punching device

Which of the following sounds natural?

A hand punching device. OR

A hand punch device.

And most importantly why?

I don't know what the difference would be between "a hand punching device" and "a hand punch". If there is no difference then the latter seems more economical.

I think you mean "a hand punch".

I've never heard of it. I suppose it's a device that you put your hand under or into when you would like to have it punch your hand. A hammer might do the job as well.
