Hand gestures in different cultures

Hi,

I once come across an article talking about hand gestures in different cultures. It says the thumb-up gesture is common in Europe as "good" ,but they are rude to Australians. Is that so, friends from Australia? Ok sigh is not proper for Brazilians. Is that true? I'd like to know more about gestures. Looking forward to your posts. Thank you!

Yes, Akio. If you used pattern1 with me, I would think that you were telling me to go away.

Interesting!
Incidentally, if you want to use both hands you should take care not to make yourself a ghost.
