Hamlet thesis

Hello I'm an exchange student and I'm writing an essay about hamlet with my third language. However I'm having a problem wording my idea because apparently, thesis statements are completely different in English.
I wrote ideas but my English teacher said it's incomplete so I was wondering if someone could tell what to do to create a thesis sentence out of this:

Hamlets impact on the play and the significance of his decisions through out the play.

Hamlet's impact on the play and the significance of his decisions throughout the play.

That is a title.

A thesis is a sentence that tells your reader what you are going to prove or talk about.
For example: Shakespeare used Hamlet's decisions at critical points in the play as a ploy to engage audiences over the centuries.
