Hamlet Act 1 of William Shakespeare

We know the structure of a plot demands that some conflict or conflicts produce tension which builds up more and more until we reach the climax of the play after which there is a shift to the falling action and denouement or unknotting of the plot. What potential conflicts are introduced in Act One? (Please note: the conflict could be on the personal level or on the larger scale of one country vs another.)
