We carve pumpkins. My kids dressed up - one was a dragon and one was a scarecrow, both in home-made costumes. Actually,. where I work, we dress up too, so I was also a scarecrow.

We go from house to house - if the porch light is on, you say "trick or treat" and you get candy.
