It is not correct, this is the correct way to say it "Please open the door half way."

Please half open the door halfway.
Please leave the door ajar. (ajar: open just a little bit, not fully closed)

I think what Alphecca meant was please open the door halfway. Otherwise the sentence would read as a request to open the door one-quarter.
