Sugar Skull wraps up this three-book series in a very satisfying way. The people that are saying the conclusion of the story is boring or lame or "meh" (or whatever they're saying) must not have understood it. The story is obviously high on symbolism and metaphor as half of it takes place in the mind of the main character. I must say though I was left scratching my head a bit at the last few pages, as I couldn't quite grasp what the symbolism meant. Perhaps going back and re-reading the first two books would help.
I have known it can't take "it" as the object of "of", so I'd like to know whether "it" should have been replaced with "that."
Thank you in advance for your help.
