Vocabulary

Halcyon days/ hey days

Hi.

when somebody comes across several old paragraph. He might say one of the following sentences. I would be grateful if you could check to see if they sound right to you.

Oh, this photo takes me back to my childhood.

This photo reminds me of my halcyon days when I was in college.

This photo reminds me of my hey days when I was second to none in soccer.

I know the meaning of the above sentences differ. I just want to know if they sound natural to a native speakers' ear.

What do you say when you come across an old photograph of you?

Thanks for your time and help

Regards
