Hair Style

What is the best way to describe "part" when referring to hair style:

1. The man with the part haircut.

2. The man with the part.

3. The man with the parted hair (cut).

I think that there is a "standard" way to describe "part" in this context regardless whether the part is to the left or right of the head. What would be that "standard" simple way? Please let me know.
