Had+Subject+p.p~?(Duration)

I couldn't find example sentences using "Had+Subject+p.p~?(Duration)".
Generally,the interrogatory sentence using "Had+Subject+p.p~?" is rare or awkward?

1.Had you been doing your homework till he visited you?
2.Had you had a fever for a few days till you fainted?

The sentences above I made make sense?
