Hadn't

This is from a sitcom.  After sleeping with a woman last night he goes to work and tells his friends.  He says:

I hadn't had a one night stand before.

Or should it be:

I haven't had a one night stand before.

Which is the correct usage?

Thanks!

'I hadnt had'.... and thats because the word 'before' was used there which means that this phrase refers to an action which was taken 'before the past' - Past perfect tense. Am I right guys?
