He had me talking in no time.
He got me talking in no time.

What is the difference in meaning? Cheers.

'He had me talking in no time' is much more preferable to hear; there is no difference in the meaning. In my honest opinion, the word 'got' should be removed from the English language as there are plenty of other synonyms available which can replace this terrible word.
