Had wished

1 I wished that you would go to college. 2 i wished that you woulld have gone to college. 3 I had wished that you would go to college. 4 I had wished that you would have gone to college. Any differences among them ? Thanks!

#1 is fine - a past wish for something later. The thought is more naturally expressed as "I wanted you to go to college". #2 is not acceptable in BrE.
