Hello Byungki I don't think your sentence is incorrect, but "I was not able to" or "I was not able to do it" is commoner. paco

Thanks Paco,

I didn't mean that point. sorry i made a mistake.

I mean,

2. I had to go there last night but i was not able to do it...

in the second sentence, 'but i was~' is correct?
