Had not existed

Hello, teachers!

Would you please tell me which is the correct tense? I think 'had not existed' is correct. If I'm right, is 'did not existed' also used in informal everyday speaking?
- He obviously saw me. Yet he walked right past me as if I [did not exist, had not existed].
