had + ing? VS had + bare infinitive
1. The boss had me turn off the light
2. The boss had me turning off the light.
All I know about the pattern of those kind of sentences is have + bare infinitive.
Do you think #2 is normal just as #1?
Do you think some added part can be like these? (If so, is there any reason?)
1. The boss had me turn off the light (a moment ago.)
2. The boss had me turning off the light (as part of my daily routine.)
2. The boss had me turning off the light.
