Had he a house? Correct?

Are 2 and 3 correct? Are they more frequent than 1 in British English?

1. Did he have a house?
2. Had he a house?
3. Had he got a house?

Thanks.

I'm going to guess that nowadays #1 is most common on both sides of the pond. In any case, #3 sounds wrong except for emphasis upon a past purchase predating some subsequent past event.
