Had Had Made?

Hello.

As I was writing my assessment I've written down this sentence - "The poet of the poem “The road not taken” had kept his life story very vague and didn’t specify any details about it or what could’ve happened to him if he had had made a different choice." and the had had made part just did not sound right to me. There might be other grammatical mistakes so any other corrections are welcome as well.

Thank you in advance. Emotion: smile
