Had done / were to have done

1. If I had seen you by the end of this year, I would be very glad.
2. If I were to have seen you by the end of this year, I would be very glad.

Let's say "I" is in a situation where "I" cannot meet "you" for some reason, so "I" thinks it's impossible to see "you". In this case, if "I" says one of the sentences, can "had seen" and "were to have seen" be meant for the future hypothetical(unreal?) situation?
