Had better

Hello,

1. You had better take taxi. Otherwise you'll arrive late.

2. It's not a very good job. But it's something to start with.

3. Cars enable you to reach any place you want. However, they pose parking problems in the cities.

A blank space was given to fill up with suitable words.

I have attempted with underlined words.

Are they correct?

Thanks.
