Had a review

The following is an excerpt from an email:
"I have had a review meeting with the discharge lounge staff this morning. Since opening last Tuesday they have had 26 patients through the discharge lounge so far and are expecting this to increase each week. They gave us some very positive feedback and commented that the Pharmacy side of the process was running extremely smoothly with no delays so far. Well done to the whole team for supporting this!"
Please explain to me why an indefinite article 'a' is used before 'review meeting '?
