I've come across the following sentence on the internet.
When I met my husband, he was cut and hard all over. He didn’t go to the gym. He worked in construction and has played baseball his entire life. He owned his own company but did most of the real labor himself.
Shouldn't it be "had" instead of "has"? THANKS!
