Had

Please tell me if B is answered in the right grammatical form. Please tell me if the past perfect tense was used correctly here. Thank you.

A: That's not a problem, but I kind of find it redundant to take notes, because he posts them on the ecompanion website and most of the lectures he's given up until this point have been straight off of the power-point slides. On the other hand, since I'm probably gonna take notes anyway, cause there's nothing else better to do....haha.. you can definitely have a copy of mine. Would you like to find time to study and discuss philosophy in the future, maybe before our first midterm? Get back to me.

B:
Wow, I hadn't really looked at ecompanion yet. Thanks pointing me there.
I think meeting up to study before the midterm is a great idea . Let's do it!

  • In this sentence, the word(s) 'hadn't' is incorrect because the past perfect ( had/hadn't) is used only when you want to express something that occurred before another action in the past.
