Habits

Do these sentences sound normal to you?
(I am not sure, that I use get out of the habit of doing sth; get into the habit of doing sth; break the habit of doing sth correctly. Are there better ways to say, what I'm trying to say?)

1) Maria tried her best to get out of her habit of smocking before she goes to sleep, but she failed.

2) I really wanna get into the habit of reading every day.

3) He struggles to break the habit of constantly putting off his work.

4) I think, it's only really hard at the beginning. Then you gradually get into the habit.

etc.

Thank you very much!

Your usage of the highlighted phrases in each sentence is correct, but there are some other problems with them. " 2 'want to' It is very bad to use 'wanna' like this, it is spoken slang and not really to be used in polite company either. Use in song lyrics only perhaps.
