Habbit

Now here the habbit is of writing a journal, so can it be said just as habbit/quality/nature or is there any other suitable word that can be given. Please help me to frame the below sentence.

"I was glad at the same time I equally found it completely strange and surprise to find this habbit/quality/nature of mine in my son at this very early age."

Top answer

I'd say "habit" as writing a journal is something you do, not a personality trait. However, your sentence is still unclear. ) strange and surprising to find this habit of mine in my son at this early age?

Synonymat the same time I equally found it completely strange and surprise
Do you mean: I was glad, but at the same time it was (equally?) strange and surprising to find this habit of mine in my son at this early age?

Yes some what I meant the same.

Is it wrong if I put it as 'equally stange and surprising'?
