"gutchering" or whatever it is

Hello everbody,


I am watching a documentry on YouTube called History Cold Case - African Man's Skeleton, and at 16:32 the lady says something like "If we've got some gutchering,,and we've got some quite rectangular orbits, that would suggest ...". Now the fifth word, which I hear as "gutchering", is one I've never heard of before, and can't faind in any online dictionary.. There are some entries that containg "gutchering, gutchered" etc, but none give a definition, and I have also not been able to deduce the meaning from the context. Could anyone help me out with this please?

From my experience with Zimbabwean parents, it means burning. Gutcher(e)d means burnt
