Gush on about

I could gush on and on about how much we enjoyed staying at the apartment. We had a 3 bedroom (8 bed) apartment.

Does "gush on about" mean that to praise something a lot? Could it be like " to rant on about" for negative remarks?

Top answer

It's more about talking positively about something. It also implies talking about it emotionally, extensively, or non-stop.
