1. I played a guitar
2. I played a Fender guitar.
3. I played an Electric guitar.
4. I play a Fender guitar.
5. I play an electric guitar
6. I play the Fender guitar
7. I play the electric guitar.

Is 1. incorrect? I think 2 3 4 5 6 7are correct.
What is the difference between 4 and 6?
When we are describing a type of guitar do we use "a"? Thanks Fulvio
