Hello,
Which version sounds better to you: "They asked me to guide/show the lady to her seat"? Can we also use "take someone to his seat"?

Thank you

They asked me to show the lady to her seat. - Showing people to their seats is the common function of an usher. You can also use the verb "usher" but it is not as common.

Yes, I am familiar with "usher". Do "take" and "show to" sound more natural than guide? I don't think I'd use guide, but that's probably just me.

A friend of mine used "guide people to their seats" in her CV. She's a native speaker and that made me question myself. I thought natives didn't make any mistakes.
