Dear Sir,
I am writing to apply for the Medical Sales Representative vacancy as advertised in ABC newspaper, Nr.2 (642) from 20 January 2006. I enclose a copy of my CV for your attention.
I graduated in Pharmacy in July 2003 from the XY University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Moldova. I passed through the five years course, finishing with the Diploma. My thesis title is “Chemical and technological research of root of the Berberis vulgaris”. During studies I got increasingly interested with the developing, technology of manufacturing and analysis of medicines, have received deep knowledge on pharmacological actions and indications of them. Afterwards I improved my skills with two years course of residence (internship) and received qualification of Pharmacist – Analyst.
Simultaneously, in August 2003 I started to work in Pharmaceutical area, in LL company – supplier of medicines and parapharmaceutical articles, later for its partners, companies NN and MM in areas of supplying and servicing of medical and laboratory equipment.
Working in storehouse, I received strong practical knowledge and skills of storing, packaging and checking of medicines and parapharmaceutical articles. Letter I continued working in function of Medical Representatives - promoting our products, finding of new clients – pharmacies, hospitals and private clinics, collecting orders from the existing ones. This job great helped me to develop skills to communicate with men, reveal requests and propose the suitable products and service for their needs. At following, working as Sales Manager I improved strong skills on person contacting, contracts managing, negotiating for sales and acquisition, establishment contacts with international suppliers.
I feel I have a range of relevant skills that I can bring to your company. Accuracy, diligence, initiative and ability to adopt and use new information are my leading person features. Additionally, working as System Administrator, I improved my IT skills: all Microsoft Office Family Products, Adobe Photoshop and 3D Studio MAX graphical design packets, servicing LAN, PC’s and Windows NT/Server administration and so on. I developed several original methods for data collecting, sorting and analyzing using advanced MS Excel and MS Access programming.
Vacancy in ABC company attract me because of the variety of possibilities of working in international company, ability to receive competitive remuneration for my future work. I hope my achievements will qualify me to work for you; and I am thrilled at the idea that I can make a valuable contribution to your company.
