A friend has written to you asking for advice about a problem at work. You have had a similar problem in the past.
Write a reply to your friend. In your letter:
Dear Peter,
I hope this letter finds you in a good health. I'm writing this letter in a reply to your yesterday's letter in which you have asked for my advice about a problem at work.
I can totally understand your problem as I was also suffering from the same issue last year. Since this is your first job, it is possible that your senior manager will highlight your mistakes in your communication and give you the warning. Don't be afraid of this, because it is normal with every new employee at work.
When I joined the finance department of Unilever, I could not speak fluently and used to fumble a lot in front of my boss. In my annual appraisal, she had demoted me from a position of manager to assistant manager due to this issue. However, I didn't give up and tried my best to overcome this issue.
In order to improve my communication skills, I started to read newspapers and watch online videos on Youtube. I'd recommend you to do the same so that you can also improve your skills. You can also take classes but you'll not be able to manage it with work.
Let me know if you need any assistance.
Take care,
Naresh
