grown or grown to

Which of them is right?
It grown (for e.g.) 2 meters long/high.
Or: It grown to 2 meters long/high.
I want to say that the final length/height that it reaches is 2 meters, not that it grows with 2 meters, for e.g. from 1 to 3 meters.
