Grow (up) into adults

Is this sentence correct ?

Is "up" necessary?

Is it correct and natural to say "grow into"?

What about "grow to become"?

Before she died she expressed how sound she was she would not see her kids grow (up) (into/ to become) amazing adults.

Thanks
