Hi Vincent, 'Crowd' as a noun is a collective noun. You can't have 'crowds' when you are using it as a noun. I would say this.

Hi Vincent,

'Crowd' as a noun is a collective noun. You can't have 'crowds' when you are using it as a noun.

I would say this. "As the hours passed, the crowd grew larger and larger."

No, 'grew bigger and bigger' is fine, too. I was just trying to stick to VT's original sentences as much as possible. 'Larger' is also OK, and is so
