Grove vs. orchard

Hi

I am not sure if I understand the difference between grove and orchard fully, but Google images lead me to believe that they at least look the same. My question is:

If one is driving around in his car, is it possible for him to tell the difference between a mango grove and a mango orchard without actually stopping by and getting off? I ask this because I often read in books something like this:

We drove past a mango grove.

Thanks,

Tom
