Vocabulary

groundfloor

Hello,

Does agricultural groundfloor mean anything to you?

Is the expression in blue ok?

Thanks

The characteristics of the first are (agricultural) groundfloor and the first floor which is residential with the external/outer staircase, baladura.

Top answer

Agricultural ground floor is opaque to me. The cows are downstairs and the family is upstairs? A baladura is a staircase?

Yes, baladura is a staircase.

I am not quite sure what agricultural ground is, but it is not the animals living downstairs, but perhaps they keep wheat, potatoes etc. on the groundfloor - the crops (because the family works on the land, they are farmers).

I would do something like this, perhaps:

The characteristics of the first are a ground floor for storage and a residential floor above, with an external staircase, the 'baladura'.

I found out yesterday that there were stables on the groundfloor, too.
