In British English, the bottom floor is called as "ground floor" and then the first floor ( as far as I know the first floor is the the ground floor in American English) the second floor the third floor and so on... I have never thought that before but I would say I parked my car on the ground floor (or on the second floor) My parking place is the ground floor\ the second floor. Sorry, I didn't realize the minus.
