Grieved out

Hi

Is the use of grieved out OK here?

She was all grieved out after her son passed away.

A - How's she doing?
B - Totally grieved out.

Thanks,

Tom

The pattern "verb-ed out" (in this sense) is usually casual. "grieve", on the other hand, is a somewhat formal or serious word. The combination "grieved out" therefore seems inappropriate to me.
